Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how etechcube ('we') handles information collected through the Lookup website and product. We collect only what we need to provide the service and to contact you about it.
Information we collect
Contact details you submit through our forms (name, company, email, phone) so we can respond to demo and trial requests.
Business data you upload or connect to the product for the purpose of generating your dashboards and reports. This is operational data about your business — trips, invoices, production records and the like — not, as a rule, personal data.
Standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
To provide, maintain and improve the product; to respond to your enquiries; and to send service communications such as the daily digest you opt into.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data to train models. Benchmarking, where offered, uses anonymised and aggregated data only.
Cookies & analytics
We use only the cookies necessary to run the site and keep you signed in. We do not use browser local or session storage to hold your data. Where we measure site usage, we aim to do so in an aggregated, privacy-respecting way.
Data isolation & security
Each customer's business data is isolated at the database using Postgres row-level security — enforced in the database, not merely filtered in application code. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, and test tenant isolation on every release.
Sub-processors
We use a small number of third-party service providers (for example, cloud hosting and message delivery) to operate the service. We use them only to the extent needed to deliver the product, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms. A current list is available on request.
Where your data is stored
We host the service on reputable cloud infrastructure. Where data is processed or stored outside your country, we take steps consistent with applicable law to protect it.
Data retention
We retain business data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it in line with our retention schedule and applicable law. On request and on account closure, we will delete or return your business data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to non-essential communications at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.
Grievance officer
In line with applicable Indian law, you may raise any privacy grievance with our grievance officer at grievance@etechcube.com. We will acknowledge and work to resolve valid complaints within the statutory timeframe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the 'last updated' date above and, where appropriate, notified to you.
